He holds an MBBS degree from Government Medical College and Hospital in Latur, Maharashtra, and completed his MD in Psychiatry at Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College and Hospital in Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
Dr. Shaikh’s professional journey has equipped him with a diverse clinical background. He began his career as a Junior Resident in the Psychiatry Department at Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College, where he spent three years honing his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders. He continued to excel as a Senior Resident at the same institution for eight months, further deepening his expertise.
Following his residency, Dr. Shaikh served as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Jagruti Rehabilitation Centre for eight months, where he focused on treating individuals with substance use disorders. His journey continued as a Senior Resident in Psychiatry at Lokmanya Tilak Municipality Medical College and Sion Hospital in Mumbai for eleven months, allowing him to gain invaluable experience in a bustling metropolitan setting.
Currently, Dr. Shaikh practices as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Habib Hospital and Parkar Healthcare in Dongri, Mumbai. Additionally, he serves as an Honorary Consultant at Noor Hospital in Masjid Bunder and NeuEVT Clinic in Nanded, where he continues to provide specialized psychiatric care to a diverse patient population.
